JANE SHUTTLEWORTH, former owner and editor of MOTHER EARTH NEWS, and still maintains the environmental farm and facilities where the periodical began.  Shuttleworth sits on the board of Environmental Conservation Organization and is keenly interested in maintaining Henderson County’s natural beauty.  She also is a dancer and interested in the performing arts.
