The Mill Center for the Arts will provide Hendersonville and Henderson County with a first class

cultural  and performing arts center that will meet the needs of local groups, increase the

cultural offerings available to citizens and provide rental space for community use.  The Mill Center

will create a focus for the cultural life of the community.

Phase I is invisioned to include:

1. 1,200 SEAT PERFORMANCE HALL WITH:

• Full thrust stage with orchestra pit and fly loft
• Central performance and sound recording station
• Orchestra seating with balcony
• Catering kitchen
• Rooftop terrace for pre and post concert events
• Green room and performers' amenities
• Grand lobby with spacious entry and intermission area
• Views and entry into amphitheater and park
• Easily accessible patron drop-off

 2.  FLEXIBLE USE EVENTS HALL:

• 350 - 400 seat capacity for rehearsals, small stage productions, chamber music and community events
• Rooftop terrace for community events

 3.  AMPHITHEATER AND PARK: 

• 1.25 acre urban park
• Outdoor performance stage
• 1000 seat capacity
